Wondering what it would take to run 9.55-9.6 in a 3400 (3373) pound car. Various online calculators say around 754 hp. Could it be done with less with a good working car, super stock type chassis, manual transmission? Thanks

Not high altitude at all. I live in Illinois. That was in 2009 and now that I am thinking about it. I made 700 to the wheels but I did back the timing off a bit for the track so it was making a small amount less then that when I was actually at the track. I was still learning the blower set up. But then my sixties were also horrible. That was with 10lbs boost and on 92 octane. I have obviously learned a lot since '09. :p

With a good chassis and the tricks done to it, it could easily be done with less than 750.

Wallace Racing Calculator says:
Your HP is 771.54 computed from your vehicle weight of 3400 pounds and ET of 9.55 seconds.
This is just a guesstimate, has a lot to do with air.
