About 6000 miles now on a Procharger engine 20 psi.

 

Running them in my 406 for my street car. Nice pistons for the $.

 

have pretty much run wiseco in all my racing motors,..... great piston, never any problems. in fact, runnin in my motor now, never any reason to change....... 434 sbc 14.7:1 on race gas. if they survive in dirt racing, they will last forever if the tune up is good!

 

i put them in my 406, very nice shelf piston.

 

Have used quite a few sets of them over the years and no problmes so far.

 

My next question is, are the rings that come with them good quality for a alky motor? I don't want to have to be replacing them after 100 passes.

 

It's a standard plasma-moly ring pack...they're fine.

assuming all the other stuff you probably didn't tell us about isn't there..:smt044

4.155 bore sbc I sprayed the shit for years on them. I added new pistons and had these in the attic and just sold them last year at a swap meet. The guy asked if they were bascally used for dyno only. No scuffs or lifted ringlands at all. Great product for the price.

 

I use them in my 355. So far they have survived 28 psi of boost and have made enough power to take a 3,645lb car 152.47 mph. I'm using the rings and pins that came with the pistons.

 

I've used those pistons in my small block for many years. Excellent product.
