C4, C6, AOD, 4R/5R/6R?
Both are about equal. The Glide has fewer rotating parts, but they are bigger/heavier.Anyone know which trans robs less power? Rollerized C4 or Glide? I've heard different answers.
This "could" happen if the wrong servo/apply arm ratio is combined. Stick with the "R" servo and "E" lever.Put the pipe down. Never seen any of em crack around the servo area.
Seen 1 last year 632 mud rail, broke the guys foot on the launch. 1 this year, 588 with a 400 shot same thing but the blanket kept it all in.theres plenty of pics where the stock TH400 case split in half or blew the whole top off the case.
That is why a one size fit them all design isn't the end all answer to every question......and people bitch about different Ford bell housing patterns. The fricking BBF Ford pattern is larger to accommodate greater weight and higher torque and horsepower. Pffft!
Actually its nothing new. The made braces for them in the 60's to prevent this. ... along with double wrap bands ( I must admit, it been a while since a seen one of those bands) 68FormalGT is correct, wrong combo lever/servo splits them in half rather quickly.Put the pipe down.
