Will this work as a location for my vacuum pump relief valve??

Best location for the relief is right on the inlet of the pump, that way your only creating a vacuum in the engine, not drawing air through it. Just put a t-fitting right at the pump.

I am moving mine this year as I had it on the opposite valve cover of the vacuum pump inlet line.

It will work but in that location I think it will be in a dusty area and could suck alot of dust into the motor. That is also an area that oil may splash around in so it could stay damp from oil residue. I put mine in a valve cover but the pump line would be the best place I think. RM

I used a pair of AN10 fittings; one in each valve cover. Baffled on the inside of them. Then hooked each AN10 hose to a T fitting and then to a Star relief valve and on to the pump with AN12 line. To keep from pulling any debris into the pump I used a K&N filter over the screened relief port. No way for it to pull any crap into the pump.
