Tighten the extension to start with.
You need more wheel speed.
What's your DS number at .25 and .50

IC location??
DS @ .250 = 901 RPM
DS @ .500 = 1,230 RPM

IC is 40" out 8" up...I have been everywhere with it. This has been the quickest so far and not killing the tire as hard as it has. This chassis has been hard to get right with the low amount of power the motor is making. It has cheap single adjustable strange shocks on it now...

I may have went about the 4 link changes differently in the beginning if I would have had video to go with the racepak data...

damn thats hitting and bouncin off the rim and side wall in slow motion ..
tighten ext. till it hurts 60ft. and 60-330 split .then loose the front a tad to control it .
if you cant stop the skipping in the first split or it blows it off pull some time just before it breaks them loose .
unless your fourlink is way outta wack try to control it with shocks first .where are they set at now and whos shocks and valving ?

Front is full loose already, rear is dead soft will start with tightening the rear and see where that takes me.

Shocks are Strange single adjustables...so it looks like I need to upgrade to something with better control this winter & double adjustable?

I also have a 3 speed 727 that could be causing some of the frustration with the lower first gear compared to a glide?

Previously mention, but I wanted to answer each reply...

IC out 40" & up 8"

the wheelie bars were at 6" & 6 1/2" in that video...I tried raising them 2 days ago and It almost seemed worse. I only have one bad video of that. So maybe lowering the bars would help. I was originally thinking they were causing it to unload the suspension.

About 625 HP
9.54 at 142 is best ET & 1.282 is best 60'

The problem is it seems to be inconsistent which make the car hard to dial. I thought I had it hooking good by looking at the racepak graphs, but after seeing the video it looks as if there is more to be desired...

Are you running the stiff wall Hoosier ... C07?

Have you tried running higher air pressure?
Agree w/ cool40 on where the 4-link will be close to ending up to help soften the hit.

What's the weight bias of the car and what is the spring rate of the front and rear coil-overs?

For sure, having double adjustable rear shocks will give you a wider tuning window.

No the Hoosiers are the 32 14.5W DO5's

I haven't tried higher than 7psi with this IC set-up...can try that after trying to stiffen up the ext. on the shocks.

Ok I can try lengthening and lowering the IC again.

Front weight is 1,279 rear is 1,247 with me in the car...100# rear springs. I'll have to dig a bit deeper for the front spring rate.

I'm sure I'll end up with good shocks over the winter...I just cant afford them right this second and want to finish out the year racing on what I have.

Thanks everyone for all the input!

There are 2 types of cars...those that want a dead hooked tire and those that want wheel speed. With only 625HP, I'd say youre not going to be looking for tons of wheel speed. It doesnt leave horribly, but the tire is acting as a "shock absorber".
Where are the front struts set as far as tightness?
