Well based on years of pictorial evidence of the level of cleanliness used in that shop its not surprising. An old machinist friend of mine once said to me, "If you swap the L and F in Lifter you get Filter.Lifter comparison. The Morel is the one that the plunger got stuck in for the 482 above.

DK where the Morels are made, they are marked just like all the other Morels. New cam is on the way and the Isky/Johnson lifters are going in and then back on the dyno for the customer. With the plunger stuck it was luck that the pushrod did not unseat the retaining clip and cause some real damage.Are those the lifters Morel imports from China?
Always the customer's fault with you, isn't it. I've seen some pics of your shop lately and it looks like a shit hole. Nothing compared to what it was when I was there.
