I am a newbie, and here is my Dyno of my Dart Little M 440" SBC April this year. I had a 406 for 7 years in my Nova, and decided it was time for more power ( Street).
My Little SB made 621HP and 600TQ Found out after that we had an overfill of 1 qt, also this HP was the final in car street tune 33 degree's, fat and happy fuel. 440" Dart Little M 4.185" bore x 4" stoke. Callies Magnum XL crank, Callies 6" H-Beams, AFR 227 full CNC Eliminator heads, Jesel Rockers, Super Vic and Patrick James 1000HP 4150. 259in and 262 @.050 Comp SR 112 Isky Red Zone EZ bearing lifters. Diamond 11:1 pistons, Titan oil pump. Tremec TKO-600 5 speed, Moser 12 bolt with 33 spline, and Vintage Air II. Motor has 3,800 miles on it now, and the last rear wheel dyno we did gave us 512HP at the wheels on my very soft street tune. Needless to say fun to drive, and have put those 4,000 miles on since June 1st of 2008. http://s39.photobucket.com/albums/e200/Nova68SS/?action=view¤t=DartDyno007.flv
My new engine for my Camaro is nearing completion, with that I am looking for peoples guess as to what it’ll make for power. Here it goes.
Rod length: 5.7”
Intake: Rpm air gap
Headers: 1 3/4” primary 3 1/2”
Ignition: MSD pro billet, blaster 2 6AL
Can a sliped outer ring on a balancer upset the valve train/ timing enough to cause ignition to break down at the top of the gears. Around 7,000 rpm. It moved about a 1 1/2. We are replacing it with a certified unit.
Hey guys, I have a question about my build.
Its a 360 sbc: Lunati Voodoo 60133 solid roller(2,800-7200 RPM, intake:249 Exhaust: 255 @.50, advertised intake/exhaust: 279/285, int exh lift 585/600 factory lift), Crower HIPPO mech roller lifters, magnum pushrods, Ported Super Vic, Wiseco Pro Tru...
Weird ask but...somebody I know says that the below combo delivered him [email protected] the 80's(3500lb chevelle)
I'm not a chevy guy so I don't really know what combos work...but this seems like BS.
Bow Tie block, with a LA Billet Kryptonite billet crank with a 6.535 Carillo rods...
