Pic's not to good though..
If one is interested in port work, specs must be provided... displacement (bore & stroke), compression, head specs/flow, cam, EFI/carb, forced induction/nitrous, RPM range, and application. 25-40+ hours is not uncommon for many manifolds.I'm curious: how many hours is typical for a port job on a single plane? I'm sure this varies depending on the manifold and how much material is removed... I'm just looking for a rough idea. Maybe a range "x" to "y." Are y'all typically using a flow bench?
If a guy is building his own engine, does he consult with you first on what manifold to buy? Or typically send you what he already has? Or what?
If you are building an engine post it in the NA section and ask questions about what manifold to use with your combination/heads/ect.I'm curious: how many hours is typical for a port job on a single plane? I'm not, yet, but will be in the future when I get a few other projects completed. Right now I'm mostly lurking, learning what I can and making plans. If you are building an engine post it in the NA section and ask questions about what manifold to use with your combination/heads/ect.
