No need for dual needle and seat bowls if have 2 carbs!!!!

 

prochargers nova had dual 4bbls.

 

It works but takes twice as much of everything.

 

i run it... easy to tune, great streetabilty!!! no need for excessive jet. no dual needle and seat bowls. i have run the tunnel ram for years with no issues.. i just went to this new lowrise 2-4bbl intake recently. seems to work awesome!! i only use 1 regulator. and have a box on top of both carbs, with a single inlet form the turbos. go for it!! you will like it!!

the only problem I can see is height but on the other side fuel distribution would have to be better then a single 4bbl

YUP, I *DO* . I was following the thread but I didn't answer since I wasn't blow-thru. But YES, I do run a Dart Tunnel Ram and two throttle bodies and it has worked well so far. No distribution probs at all.

(Just need to get my TIMING right).

 

When I first started running the blow thru Procharger deal I started with duel HP950's on this very manifoldhttp://www.yellowbullet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=246908

But that was before the dominator was technically available and was still trying to make it work. The duels on gas might offer a slight tunning advantage but probably not measureable. The current dominator from CSU (probably C&S also) will make as much power as your wallet will stand on gas.

Now, I have not tried it......yet, but I truely believe the current state of development is there to run duel carbs on alcohol and they would be able to flow enough fuel to put you in the low 2000's hp area. The last fuel tweaks that Kevin did to my dominator that thing will now flow so much fuel that I had to pull the jetting way back to bring me in line with fuel demands. That's what makes me think the duel alcohol carb time is now here.

i assume that the longer runner length with end up giving you a colder air temp going into the head as the fuel has more time to soak up the heat?
