I used to be on YB all the time but since Monty sold it, I think thats what went on years ago, myself and a whole lot of friends faded away from it. Between life, 2 kids and 2 open heart surgeries, amongst other shit, I went from hours a day on there to I haven't been on more than maybe once a year. What happened that's being referred to here as the reason for decline?

 

The biggest issue? People let trolls dominate the site rather than just ignoring their posts. They can't help themselves, they have to engage. If they never responded they (trolls) would move on.

I was on a mission to find him but, no ratass to be had. Not an easy task with all the people there, can't say I didn't try.

I loved the atmosphere, it was so upbeat and electrifying. Racing was top notch, with every car faster than mine. I'll be going again next year.

Have not missed one yet, son came up from Florida for it. Saturday night qualifying was great, Ive seen drone shots from Saturday and that place was packed. Weather was great.

 

So is Mont-Tay still the promoter?

 

There's still a bullet in the logo, Monte may have kept the rights to YB Nationals.

You had plenty of time to arrange a meet/greet as I posted on 8/25 my intentions. Oh, my bad, it was over at "Let's Talk Drag Racing"....why would I expect you to peruse that tab?

It's amazing, over the years I've met a couple of dozen Guys that are on the Bullet that had no issues finding me,
but some people can't seem to find a big ass blue trailer with a US Navy flag
or a bright red ugly ass Lumina but insist they were at an event and I wasn't???

This was a great year for YBNats. The place was packed. The weather was great. Tons of great cars making passes - even the imports.

Bummed I torched a head in Q1 of 8.50. Finally got the car back to the track after last year's incident, and made 1 pass...

 

Wow what a race!! I was there all week and even seen Monty Mikho. He shook my hand and touched my heart. The guy is practically a super hero! Odd how so many people tried to beat him down but he keeps standing up!! Making big payouts, setting records and keeping the kids involved!! Next time I see him I'm gonna ask if I can touch the tip of his penis. Peace out bitches!!
