3 weeks before it was on another dyno and lost 20 lbs ft at 7,000 (26.6 hp). It wasn't eating itself so we finished the dyno session. Got it home and checked a few things out, and thought we had gained some of it back. After the third pull I realized we hadn't. A part of the problem was, come to find out it had some bad leakdowns in half the clys. So, there is more in there to be had. Needs a good freshen-up this winter.

Holbrook did one of those when I worked for him just after high school. It was a SB Ford sectioned and furnace brazed back together with Boss or Cleveland heads sectioned the same way. Probably the coolest thing I had ever seen at that point.

Rumor has it; Erik-427 was the consultant on that project.

Doesn't look super flashy but those that know, will know. This is quite possibly the coolest engine and car I've ever laid my hands on, and I've built, tuned, worked on countless bad ass rides. L89 aluminum headed 427 Baldwin Motion Corvette. I'm not one for build threads but I might do one for this if the owner lets me. I'm honored to be trusted with such a rare automobile.
