No but going to being watching it. Already have my favorite car there, Steve Morris Caprice wagon. Just killer.

 

I will be at Bradenton Monday and Friday to watch. I might even cruise out there later today.

 

A few members here I know are going, including 93alexcoupe and his mustang. He will be racing a few of my friends in he 8.50 class.

 

a couple of guys from England have bought a turbo ls powered volvo to run for the week

 

Gonna be at Valdosta Thursday to watch if all goes well

 

Wish I wasn't so busy, I'd run down to south Georgia.

 

I saw the first 6 second passes tonight. Both cars were station wagons. The gold Volvo wagon was first and Steve Morris Buick Roadboost was the second one.

Watched all day yesterday when I should have been sleeping (work nights) and I paid for that lack of sleep all night too... But it was worth it. I'll probably be doing the same thing today Lots of really cool cars there, and some odd stuff too. The racing was great IMO.

BTW, did any of you guys happen to hear anything about the woman that crashed the CTSV at the end of the day? She took a couple really hard wall hits.

 

I was wondering about her condition as well, it seemed like they left her in the car for a really long time. The wreck looked to me like she drove through some oil or something because of how it just let loose after a pretty straight pass.

 

Pretty sure I saw YB member Slammed RT a couple times Sunday. Blue Dodge Dakota, running low 10s.

This looks like a really cool event! I have done a few drag weeks, now I want to do this!! Tom Baily is a great guy, drank a few beers with him in hotel parking lot on DW last yr.

 

I heard Baily is out? What happened, anyone have info. No youtube today said anything.
