MAN, I love this thing. I personally own a 2013 Explorer Sport which is the 3.5L Twin Turbo setup. The issue with it is the turbos are small and even though it's AWD, it's front wheel drive based setup and once you add power it puts more of it to the front. Not good for us performance guys.

So now we have the 2020 Explorer ST. It's RWD based AWD, 3.0L TT with larger turbos and it's a 10 speed! I just recently switched it over to full E85, but here it is on 93 octane

I test drove a '13 before buying my '06 earlier this year. Goddamn, it was fast as hell compared to the old V8 version (98, and then later on the 06) LOL...

Kicker is I need mine for towing boats and campers, so opted for an older one with a frame and V8...again. Have a '97 Mounty, 98 Explorer and of course the 06, all V8s.

The 2020 looks verrrrryyyyy nice. Might be time to get a loan....

We actually already have it on E85 and it's been 12.2@111 now. That video will be out next week.

What VP Octane Booster did you use?:confused:Thanks
VP Octanium. I recommend that or Boostane

Excellent & congrats to the OP :smt023 tried to get Mrs interested in the Exploders as Daily Driver but she insisted on the Platinum "Edge Instead" :smt082

What's the tune on the Transmission involved? IIRC w GM's the Trans are tweaks are always needed in tandem with engine tune, same w your setup on Ford Trans? :smt102

Oh yeah FordRules:

JK Congrats on the performance achieved
Thanks! Yes, we always tune the trans on all vehicles we tune.

For sure. I think it would go 11s under these conditions with a few more parts and tuning. I only made 3 passes. First 2 I spun, so then I tried to leave softer and that is the pass you see here. This is on a test and tune night so the track isn't in good shape. Possibly on a sticky track it would have went 11s that night.

Stupid question, but what kind of MPG do you get? We've been thinking about dumping the wife's '18 Traverse, and like the looks of the Explorers. I'd be even more inclined if MPG were decent, and it had some fun factor.
