Not much recent stuff in there. Chris cobbs posts were good but about 5 years old now.

 

That is agood head they also have a 295 cc 2.200 valve deal to used to make killer power held some class records in a nitrous car few years ago

 

I think the castings are good. In some cases, the smaller port size have some advantage when used in max effort power adder applications.
But the large ports are pretty good, in my testing. Just depends what your trying to accomplish.

I have used the TrickFlow 18* castings with good results.

 

T . what size ports would ya recommend for a sbc 406 ..say 7500 to 8200 or you pick the rpm ?Street strip deal

 

I do know they have a brand new casting out with lots of extra meat on them!

not sure I got an old set,but just saw the new castings the other day just more material for porting and stronger/thicker..

 

I thought bes had a decent program for these .
