I think they are playing drifter out there now.
I've heard rumors of a big money bracket race but that's all its been so far, rumors.
The last track manager was a nut and now I'm beginning to think he was driven toward being a nut by the owners.

JimL,

When I read your post I went to the Div 4 web sight to post the same link I'd sent to a friend maybe two weeks ago .... now it has changed....

I agree with you .... but I swear that as recently as two weeks ago the schedules on NHRADiv4.com said Shreveport for that October race (which was a big surprise to me) .... Now they say Noble. Last time IHRA had a divisional there none of the TS/TD cars could get down the track and they had to cancel the event for them. Noble has some dips at 700' and 900' but I've always liked the venue other than that bit of track personality.

The track is good now. All it takes is someone knowing how to prepare it correctly. They had a guy that could do it but I was told he wasn't always the one that did it. You take a guy from any local track that does the normal track prep work and give him the tools to do the job and that guy will have the track hooking with the best tracks out there. Lots of game playing in the past and people just not knowing (or even more sinister then that) what to do. The track is really in a lousy location at best though. They should have built somewhere along I20 on the Texas side or Louisiana side and things would be a little different. It's just plain hard to get to and way off in the boonies.
