We use Geico for our daily drivers so we turned to them for our Chevelle. Since it's a classic car they farm it out to a sister company. I'll have to check my records because I forget the name. Even though it's not Geico that's who it's through if that make sense.

Anyway, ours is a street/strip car and it's covered to $30K no questions asked for theft and is also has full coverage for when we drive on the street. No on track insurance of course but we only pay about $250 a year for an agreed value coverage.

This article mentions of two guys, one who has already been listed in this thread, as an insurer. I think there's a few more others that are really good too that I've seen being talked about on here before.

Depending on location 1 of 2 scenarios for a race car...

1). a policy covers you every where. Pits, going to the track, staging lanes, in the trailer, return road, everything BUT the start/finish line. After that you need a separate policy for the race itself

2) Same deal above, but pending state, you need a policy for at home, traveling to the track, in the garage. Then need a separate policy for the pits, the staging lanes, the return road etc, then like mentioned above, in this case, a 3rd policy for actually racing.

For what it's worth I bought insurance through Bill Horton and it was a very easy process and I would recommend him to anyone. Very nice to deal with and prompt with his return calls etc. Race car, trailer and contents covered for over $50k right around $800 a year. Very good peace of mind for the amount of money we put into this hobby.

I've had insurance through Bill Horton (Great American) for a couple of years now. Agreed value of 40k on my Race-Truck,...3500 on my Trailer,....3500 on my contents,....w/ 1000 deductible,...for 750 a year. Just got a quote from Don Kennedy,....for the same exact coverage,...with 0 deductible,......for 500 a year.

My policy expires at the end of this year,....and I'm switching.
