Powder Coating nitrous bottles

I was wondering if I can have my scratched up nitrous bottles powder coated. My concern is with powder coating the process calls for heat and I have heard that it could damage the bottles integrity.

I guess I am worried just like putting a torch to your bottle is not good for it's integrity would it have the same effect? Just wanted to find out before ruining 2 good bottles.

All new bottles are power-coated. NOS and NX even list them as powdercoated. I have had then done in the past. But will never use until hydrostatic checked. I won't even use a new used bottle until checked since who knows what the previous under did to the bottle.
