Thinking about putting my 334 twin setup in my 98 single cab ranger! It has upper and lower control arms up front with 8.8 rear end on leafs. Was wondering what you guys did for suspension up front and in the rear, an what's your best 60 ft times? All comments are welcome that are related to the topic!!

Truck would be built for the nmra true street events and drag week.

Just a truck I can drive to the track and drive home!!!

I have a 96 longbed. 306/stick/ 200 shot/8.8 out of an Explorer, 4.10s, took leaf springs apart, kept main leaf plus next spring and used a short add a leaf, clamped main and second spring, SRD Assasins( he will make them, I got the
first set for a Ranger),looking to upgrade rear shocks, 325 M/T DRs. Stick coming out and glide going in.
Cant help on the front as I have I beams( might go to a Pinto setup next year).
Truck gets driven every weekend.

Post up some photos of your truck.

I must be getting the 2nd set, ordered them Tuesday

glide going in.
good choice, I don't have any regrets after switching

same here, I did make a fixture off of the stock swing arms, and built my own. They use heim joints, and single adjustable coil-overs, with an adjustable upper mount.

Truck gets driven every weekend.

I drive mine during the week, too. It's fun to drive to the track, run 9-teens at 150 on low boost, and do it again without touching a thing, and drive back home.

Well I have a 97 that I had put a 87-93 k member underneath and built stut mounts for and well that's been put on the back burners becuz I had to sell all the front suspension to by my motor setup I have now. Couldn't pass up the sweet hard of a deal that I got on it. I also will be running a power glide. This motor setup I bought has been 8.7 at 162mph in a 3250 mustang gt. An he wasnt even leaning on it yet. So If I can run low 9's, high 8's I will be happy. But I knw the problem with trucks is planting the power to the ground! I have a set of home made caltracs that I picked up. Anyone have good luck with those. Also thought about making brackets and mounting 10 way struts out back! I have to stay with leafs cause in true street rules you have to obtain factory mounting point in the rear. So ladder bar or four link is out ofthe question right now!!! Any one have 60ft times of there trucks

Do you have stock shock mounts?
My lower plates do not have a provision for shock mpoounts
as the stockers mount to the rear end housing.

The tie down mounts are nice.
