I have searched and not sure one what I should do . 402 ls twin turbo th400 street car . Have a low clearance sheet metal intake on it and it was designed to run the throttle body upside down on it with the throttle cable running under the intake ,

Once it was on the motor the iac sensor has clearance issues with the electric water pump . I'm running the Holley hp system on it and was wondering how well it would run with the iac deleted .

I'd like to run the original throttle cable set up and upside down tb . I see a lot of turbo cars that don't run the iac but this is for a street car . And need it to run and idle very well , can the holly make up for idle with on the fly timing adjustments ? Thanks any information would be great right now .

It'll run without the IAC fine. You might notice a little rough running when cold, or if you have A/C and it kicks on but there's ways around that and it's not a big deal. I've got a Holley Hp system on a retro fitted stack injection manifold and it starts and runs just fine, hot or cold. It doesn't matter. Be sure you plug the hole!
