Have you tuned your fuel offset?

What is your iac reading at hot idle?

 

i have tuned the fuel offsets.

during a cold start 55* ECT, once started the IAC value is about 40%, if you touch the pedal it goes to 0

when the engine is up to temp the IAC value is 0-5%

Its a DBW which doesnt have an iac but still uses those terms for idle control.

But does anyone know why the IAC value goes to 0 instantly when you touch the throttle when cold. Thats what I'm having an issue with.

 

I seem to remember this being normal. You don't need iac doing anything while you are in control of the throttle. Also dbw

 

does't the IAC go to your parked position?

No this isnt a rev it up situation. Just touch the throttle slowly 1% movement and the ecu just forgets that its suppost to hold the throttle open because its cold.

 

What is the hold position set to as asked about? If it's 0, that is the issue. Try 20

 

I will increase the hold position and see if it helps. Ive tried 0-55 without it geting any better.

This is the way its working currently.

"throttle blade hard stop" 11.2% This number gives me a rock steady 800rpm idle when engine is warm

Cold engine desired idle 1100 rpm. The increase in cold idle RPM makes the throttle blade 15.2% (the IAC value is 40% aka 4% increase is blade %)

When I barely touch the pedal and move it 1% the IAC goes to 0 which makes the blade angle 12%, where it should go to 16%. You still need IAC control in conditions like this
