My fox as a roller weighs 1,241 and still has stock firewall and floors all the way to the wheel tubs (which are carbon). That's with carbon doors and front end.
Just being relentless in your search to take weight off everywhere. A switch from a regular carb to an aluminum body one for instance was worth 5.2lb in my case.
