Don't know who makes them, and there don't appear to be any reviews yet. Looks like they are using Briggs & Stratton engines, so probably none too quiet.

 

Seeing that they are being sold at the big box stores like Menards and such I would guess MTD like all that other crap that's not really a brand name with a brand name sticker on it.

The Chinese makes them for Pulsar who makes them for Ford... and Walmart....

One of those, let's make a little cash by licensing the trademark.

Ford picked the color and sticker design. China handled the rest.

 

If they are using Briggs they are prob Briggs generators.

 

They are built by Pulsar who uses Ducar engines. Ducars are all made in china. I would stay away from this junk. Ford should know better than getting paid to slap their name on china trash.

 

The two on Lowes website state in the specs that it comes with a Briggs & Stratton engine.

 

It probably depends on which model you get, who made the engine.

The two smaller ones I looked at on Amazon, said Pulsar, origin China.
