Does anyone know if the long tube on the inlet is to make it quieter, or in some way improve flow.....?

It seems two BOV's are good enough for an F4!!!

Judging by the explosion something let go on the bottom end....

Okay, I'll bite. You can put honeycomb in a tube as a flow conditioner, but it is typically better to put the honeycomb and screens in front of a big contraction that necks down to the size you want. Alternatively, you can use a long tube as a flow meter.

Maybe the guys involved will tell us what it was really for.

Just saw your replys.....Ron, could be right about head gasket.

Tomato, I love the sarcasm. Looking at it it does look big enough to be an F4. The supercharger Store gear drives often put F3's much lower down....even though they do have a vertical gear drive... But just look at it. It's massive and the inlet pipe is at least 7" in diameter.....The blower blanket/diaper seems to be necessary, can you see how they are all keeping a real good distance.

When one of us gets it brand new out the box we will be revving it to the moon and leaning over the engine bay. LOL!!!

It has a belt on it and I don't see you getting one anytime soon, so we don't have to worry.

I'm sure that during that dyno test it not only sucked all the doors shut in the building but also sucked the tape out of the VCR and probably imploded the building.:D:D

The F4 was tested last week at Gary Sellin Performance in Bolivar, Mo. This has been a joint effort between Procharger and the Micke/Sullivan team. Initial results were good. The combo made 3384hp @ 7800 rpm. Spinning the F4 @ 54,000 it produced 53psi and over 4400cfm. The blower shows alot of promise but still needs to be track tested to be called a success. Track testing will take place at the beginning of the year. A special thanks goes out to Mark and Ryan Micke along with Big John and Little John Sullivan for their continued support and dedication to Procharger. Beans are up bitch!!!:D
