Some are alot lighter, depends on chassis builder. Racetech 4 links come in around 1820 to 1850.

 

Wish we were that light but drive is 240lbs. Our car is 2010 Racetech Evo Swingarm. It has a lot of chrome and extras on it. Weight was 2010 lbs with driver. Made some changes and got rid of some of the weight that really was just unnecessary. Should come in around 1950lbs this year.

 

My 225" Innovative, with a portly 230lb driver and SBC/alternator/battery/radiatior/water pump is 1650lbs dripping wet!

 

That is light as hell.

Mine is 1750lbs with me in it ready to race BBC. Homemade swingarm car. But most Big block cars are right around the 1850-1950 range.

My friends 235" Worthy with a dry sump 632 and two 20lb weight bars on the nose and his son in it weighs 21??lbs.

 

my 240" swingarm (cartel, llc) weighs 1830 with me in it, BBC, glide, 16 x 16 wheels etc... and i weigh 230# with helmet, r3 etc... but... i have numerous customer cars that have been in the low 1500# range with them in them with DRCE engines... one guy has a patterson 433" with him (220#) the car weighs 1470# and its a 260" slip tube with a wing, wheelie bar etc...

My 266" car weighs 1750 lbs with me(225lbs w/suit) and about 70-80 lbs of ballast. Motor is DRCE 2 big block--hard tail car.
