Hello there. I'm curious about any experience with GoPro and drag racing... videos, mounts, and settings. I recently purchased a Hero 10 Black and a roll bar mount. This is my first attempt at a run down the 1/4 mile...
Zip tied together. I did run them awhile back without zip ties and they were fine lol.Do the yellow tie down straps ever fall out? LOL
That is a 32 X 14.5 Phoenix with 12 lbs. air pressure.Nice pass!
What size tire and air pressure?
Are you running tubes with that tire ?That is a 32 X 14.5 Phoenix with 12 lbs. air pressure.
Holy moly what are the length of those shocks? That looks like the spring seats are screwed up too far?I finally got it mounted, on the bar between the frame rails behind the fuel cell, with a short extension. All metal. \m/

No tubes. I tried tubes in them last year but didn't seem to make much of a difference other than slowing it down. Are you running tubes with that tire ?
Here is my observations on your launch and run. First pull farther up in the water box to right on the edge of the wet area. you still have a puddle in front of the rear tires when you start your burn out. Second the car is spinning the tires on the leave. The car is trying to pick up the rear tires on the leave and spinning. You need to adjust the suspension to plant the tire. This will pick up your 60 ft times. What is the 60 ft and 330 ft times on that run and ETI was able to make a few passes, with the GoPro out back, to test it out and help me dial in the rear suspension...
I will add to your observation. A dragster ran before him. So the only dry area was at the tree. Here is my observations on your launch and run. Here’s a typical time slip. Quickest 60’ has been 1.294.Here is my observations on your launch and run. That is a decent pass. Time look pretty balanced for the et. I run about the same 60 ft times by not as quick in the 330. I am 100 cu in smaller in GE engine Dept 3140 lbs.

Use your mouse to look around. Or move your phone around to look around.I see it's been a while since this was posted, but I'm jumping in to ask—has anyone tried using the GoPro Max for 360 drag racing shots? I'm curious how stable the footage is and if it's worth the extra cost over the Hero series. Also, how are you guys mounting them for the best view without risking the camera on a fast launch?
