Nice pass!

What size tire and air pressure?

Holy moly what are the length of those shocks? That looks like the spring seats are screwed up too far?

I see it's been a while since this was posted, but I'm jumping in to ask—has anyone tried using the GoPro Max for 360 drag racing shots? I'm curious how stable the footage is and if it's worth the extra cost over the Hero series. Also, how are you guys mounting them for the best view without risking the camera on a fast launch?

I was able to make a few passes, with the GoPro out back, to test it out and help me dial in the rear suspension...

Here is my observations on your launch and run. First pull farther up in the water box to right on the edge of the wet area. you still have a puddle in front of the rear tires when you start your burn out. Second the car is spinning the tires on the leave. The car is trying to pick up the rear tires on the leave and spinning. You need to adjust the suspension to plant the tire. This will pick up your 60 ft times. What is the 60 ft and 330 ft times on that run and ET

I will add to your observation. A dragster ran before him. So the only dry area was at the tree.

I switched over a while back and the video quality’s been better, especially in low light. The mounting options feel more solid too. You can check out Insta 360 here: https://www.amazon.com/stores/Insta360/page/2A4E9629-9C41-48D0-B37A-F3A6CF3D74D9 . I mounted one on the roll cage facing the driver and another on the bumper, and both held up fine through a few passes. Sound isn’t perfect, but good enough for what I needed.

Here’s a typical time slip. Quickest 60’ has been 1.294.

What are you guys using to turn your gopro on/off when you cant reach it? One of those remote buttons?

Yeah, thats the biggest unspoken challenge with these! I bought a remote for mine and it seems to work well enough. But the remote has its own proprietary charger, so make sure its charged too.

Use your mouse to look around. Or move your phone around to look around.
