Bathrooms are widely used as party huts. Everything from people having sex, to people snorting coke from the top of a urinal.

Just remember to wash your hands before touching the door to leave.

Thank you,
Management

Thanks to COVID, you don't have to touch the doors to get in or out.

I lived in a house before cell phones that had a land-line phone on the wall next to the toilet in the master bathroom. I never used it but really liked having it there for some reason.
I worked for a phone company years ago and the number one request for installing new phone jacks was in the bathroom.
I don't even take my phone in the bathroom with me. Jesus, there has to be some place a man can get a little privacy! She won't come in the bathroom when she knows I'm taking care of business in there but that doesn't have anything to do with privacy, rather the noxious, corrosive fumes that'll take the curl right out of her hair...

Common with older folks. I make sure I take my phone to the bathroom with me. Had I not been living at home when Mom collapsed she would have laid there and died. I have an old cell phone that does wifi calling, no SIM card, just in case I need to call 911 if something happens in the bathroom.

Good point. I stopped locking the bathroom door at home for emergency reason.

Interesting, I was unaware. So something good did come from the virus.
Hospitals had then before COVID, normal people just figured out how to use them.

When I was working in the food plants, we were taught to elbow in/out of rooms after scrubbing our hands heading to the PPE station.

You can now walk in, take a leak, and walk out without touching anything but your clothes and your pecker.

At home, sure…..
At work alone on 3rd shift, sure

God forbid out in a public restroom is a last resort
Hell no

I don't take a phone into the bathroom.
I am not tied to my phone at all.
I sometimes leave it at home when going to work.
I have left it at work.
It gets left in the car, sometimes for days.
I never go online with my phone.
I use it to make phone calls and occasionally text.
Besides, my usual bathroom duties are in/out 90 sec or less.
When I gotta go, I go. I don't sit around waiting for something to happen.
The toilet is my least favorite place to sit, why spend more time than absolutely necessary in that environment.
You know the saying "shit or get off the pot"
