Best powerglide front pump for a ring less shaft.

As the title states, who has the best front pump for ring less input shafts?
Typical .995 diameter shaft diameter in the sealing area, some use bushings in the stator tube which people say sucks, doesn't seal well, ATI uses O rings of which I've had 2 different times one of the O rings blew out, ATI could not tell me why, wasn't pushed out during assembly...
Reid machines there's for the big Sonnax stator tube, but it uses bushings too....
Are the bushing type ok? I'd rather have sealing rings in the tube...

Any help is appreciated.

Bushings with a proper fit work very well. Hopefully the bushing journal of the input shafts you are using are sized properly for bushings closer to. 9985". The. 995" shafts are specific to the O ring tubes which I don't use due to problems.

We make our own from cores for our own use. I have used the Reid style pumps many times using the Sonnax tubes and they work very well. Following that we do have another option with a bolt in stator tube that we currently stock. Keeping stock has been a challenge.

Reid pump with Sonnax tube for the 1.125 Sonnax input in my Top Dragster. If you order the pump from Reid they will machine the pump to fit the larger tube for you if you ask.

Thanks, i ordered it up for the Sonnax tube that fits the .998 ring less shaft, now gotta find the stator tube, not sure why they don't carry it, he said they won't install it because of patent infringement.

Sonnax makes a tube with bushings for the Reid premachined pump that we stock if you can't find one.
