Different concept with dry burnouts. Not sure how much difference it would have made down track. Those cars run crazy weight bias on the rear and wild wings. Strange they didn't have spectators.

 

Dry burnouts, starting line was at the 1/8th looked like. I kinda skimmed the video I could tell the guys I know running RWD were leaving on no power.

 

Change the burnout rule and the outcome is different. People are saying that it was a AWD race and they just added the RWD guys. Which is not true. RWD guys knew they would be there for weeks.

I wonder how RWD would have done if the track was prepped, but I'm of the mind that AWD should be running against big tire cars if it's going to be AWD vs RWD.

 

Cletus said if they would have started at the starting line and had the Track Radial prepped it might have been a different outcome for the RWD cars!!

 

The RWD guys were talking mad shit about the last AWD race and said they would gap them in the same conditions.

 

My buddy Andrew with the white girl had a good showing. I just freshened the transmission the weekend before, it needed it badly.

Oh, and I asked Andrew before he went how he thought it would go. It went basically exactly like he said, he said once those AWD trucks started putting wings on their trucks, the rwd cars were in for surprise. He also said if he could make it through a round or two, and some rubber got put down, he'd stand a chance.

 

Was that the White Fox Body Mustang with the TT Coyote? It was i Watched the Video Again Bad Ass car and the last remaining RWD Car!!

 

I skimmed through the video, but there was some good races, I'll go back and watch it later. I spent the night dodging tornados here in Ohio. Twice this week.

I thought it was good. It did favor the AWD but it was the same rules as the previous race. No reason to change that to accommodate the RWD.

Don't most no prep events either have an exclusive AWD classes and not allowed in the RWD classes?

All and all pretty entertaining. The AWD guys hit the RWD guys pretty hard on SM after too- that just makes it more fun.

 

There's a young hispanic gentleman who does this at my local track. Big slicks on all 4 corners. Does his burn out with the rear wheels. Then his buddies lock the front hubs before he stages.

 

How about the guys with the RWD cars jacking the back of the cars up to do a burnout and then dragging the jacks when they left the back of the cars down!!

Yeah that's the kind of badass stuff no rules racing brings! Kid is super smart.

 

It all comes down to different track preps for different tires.
The same happens at any track. Same prep for bias and radials always sways one way or the other.
Easy fix, bring both sets of tires. Lots of testing with each.

 

A lot of people in both camps stuck around for another no prep race that was shortly after...it went RWD's way this time with the Willy Dynamite Mustang beating a Velocity Racing truck in the finals. Those F-150s are no joke, 2000hp to the wheels. Still can't believe a diesel won it all at Cleetus' and I'm a diesel guy LOL.
