In the Eagle rod specs, the L-19 bolts increase the "rated" Hp #'s from 1000 hp with 2000 series bolts to 1500hp with the L19

 

In my opinion, Eagle sucks, so I would assume the L19 would bring more gains in a good rod. I do not know if I would trust an Eagle rod to 1500HP. I bet the bolts would hold, the rod would just blow to pieces.

 

I don't care which one you use but you need to make sure you check the stretch and not just torque or material will not matter.

 

I agree. I am planning on checking the stretch, not just torquing.
