I think you will find the 4 door and 2 door sedans share the same roof …. same as the try fives that are being converted.
I was going to do my nova wagon the same way … add 2 door sedan doors.

I've done two hardtop 2 dr conversions.One was a 4dr and the other was a 2dr post.It's not a real hard swap but you will need a hardtop doner car. They are out there because the roof is usually good but the rest of the car is toast. Wheelbase is all the same as well as the rocker panels.You will need hardtop doors and quarter panels. Actually I'm looking to do this conversion because I have 2 hardtop doner cars. You may ask why would you do this ? Its simple, 2 dr hardtop cars in even so-so condition are priced out of this world! When I do the next on I will document it here on the Bullet.

 

Chris, I sent you a friend request. I have 2 2nd design Chevy II's (a 66 188 car and a recently acquired super clean 67 4 door). I'm a hands on builder and can/will do all the fab work myself. I would like to discuss what you learned doing a conversion and put up a build thread with pic's as I complete the work.

Keep it a 4 door "sleeper", unless you have the $$$ and talent to carry it off. There's someone on here with a 4 door 66/67 all out drag car. Butch/56sedandelivery.

Was in carcraft, they said it was originally a 4 door.....

Change the 1/4 's to 2 door 1/4's, and use 2- 2 doors (post style), and fill where needed. I did a 67 4 door chevelle . DR

 

Thats really an interesting build idea for the dwindling supply.Now what really would be different is convert a 2 door car into a 4 door like a camaro or challenger or .....Cuda' oh wait its almost been done already.

 

I don't know who built it but, I looked at this one a few years ago. Looked like they had used the front doors from a 2 door & fabbed up the quarters out of the old rear doors. Body work was a little rough but, mechanically this car was very nice.
