AED would be fine, they have sa low budget line and with them you get support. Quick Fuel needs some recalibration help, but work fine afterwards. I've looked unto buying complete FST carbs and recalibrating before sending out, but as a growing company parts availability is giving them fits. I don't have any budget builds, the lowest cost I could build any 4150 and it would be a billet body would start around $800 and go up depending on options...

AED is my recommendation. John Dicky and the team are excellent and I wish more companies were like them. I have a 950 HO Modified and it has worked great out of the box with minor jetting changes. After a few years and with a fuel change, I wanted to get every bit out of it, so I sent it back to them a year ago to do some altering of the fuel curve to for optimum performance and better match the oxygenated fuel I am running (Sunoco GT260 Plus).

I did have a little gain in MPH, but the biggest improvement was my plugs run cleaner. I had some clutch issues last year so I was wrestling with that and did not do much with tweaking the carb. Just installed a new clutch so hopefully I can get back to optimizing other things such as the carb.

When I went to the oxygenated fuel I went up in jet size (plus some minor changes to high speed air bleeds) to optimize the MPH, but at the consequence of of my plugs not running as clean. After the curve changes I have the same MPH, but the plugs always are clean.
