The lyrics show it to be "season ticket on a one way ride", but of course it sounds like " see's a ****** on a one way ride".

I found a slowed down version [if its the real AC/DC song], and it does sound like "******" instead of "season ticket" which, IMO neither words sound close enough to get mixed up in the first place.

Not to mention political correctness wasn't an issue back when the song came out.

So, does Bon Scott say "******", or "season ticket"?

Here is the slowed down version, skip to .45 seconds.

With the way that singers are stretching and straining their voices, it is easy to misinterpret their lyrics when in song.
The girl with Coalitis goes bye.
Bingo Jed had a light on.
Excuse me while I kiss this guy.
Cheeze its are just all right with me.
What other song lyrics have we had wrong all these years?

I understand what you're saying , but for example, "Excuse me while I kiss this guy", sky, and guy sound much the same when spoken, which can easily explain why the two words are confused. Also, with all of the examples you just listed, they all sound phonetically close enough to be mistaken for the correct lyrics.

******, and season ticket don't sound like each other at all.

We caught that years ago with much worse audio equipment than we have now. “She’s a ****** on a one way ride” was what most people heard it as. I haven’t thought of this in many years. Kinda surprised it hasn’t been made a thing in today’s world.

"Louie, Louie" revisited....was that controversy EVER resolved?

The 'Black in Black' lyric, to me, sounds like "don't push your luck, just get out of my way". The one in 'Highway to Hell' definitely sounds like "She's a n....on a 1-way ride". The way Scott sang, though, it could be interpreted several different ways.
