I have a 2005 4l80e I’m building for a 4th gen Camaro. Everything looked great on tear down besides the forward clutches wear hit upon inspection found a nick in the sealing ring on the input shaft checked the forward drum and it was worn. Any good way to repair the drum? Or am I better off trying to find a new drum?

Cam and Hutch have given good recommendations as always on fixing up your unit.
To expand a bit on what they've said, I like to recommend that anyone who replaces the bushing in the fwd drum, upgrades from a stock bushing to a substantially wider 4t60e bushing. WIT p/n 84054
This helps drum stability and keeps things running on center. Prevents some ring wear
