There’s a difference between remembering them, and keeping tabs on them and following them later once you’ve moved on. Unless you had kids or were somehow otherwise intertwined with them through business or something, there’s no reason to worry about what a whole list of EXes is doing after you split with them. That’s just weird as fuck.

I have three ex-girlfriends in particular who I had serious relationships with that lasted years.. I don’t have a clue what any of them are doing today and haven’t had any contact with them since we broke up. That’s normal. Being hung up on old EXes to the point where you make a thread about it and you know exactly what they’re all up to today, that’s stalker shit. Creepy as fuck.

What I didn't share in was how she responded - by sleeping with everyone on the local high school football team and every member of the 49th Bomber Squad at our local Air Force base....strangers in bars...her karate instructor who was 25 years younger..... I saw she wasn't going to stop so I stopped it, the day I came home and discovered her out on a date with one of the aforementioned Air Force dudes.

I hated it; marriages are supposed to work but shit happens. I did get two great children out of the deal so I'm grateful to her for that.

Second wife was a great lady but 2 packs/day for 40 years is hazardous to your health and lung cancer took her at age 58. Got a loosely-termed 'girlfriend' now but other than that, no more actual relationships. Probably just as well.
