Anyone have results for the VS Racing S400 based 88mm turbo? Looks like it could be a great value if it makes decent power.

From looking around it appears to be the following specs:

Comp Inducer: 88mm
Comp Exducer: 117mm
Turbine Inducer: 96mm
Turbine Exducer: 88mm
A/R: 1.32

In for info. I was under the impression that on the S400 96mm turbine wheel that guys making right around 1250 WHP were basically at a 2:1 or even higher EMAP pressure, which would mean the flow on the turbine side is approaching the flow limit.

This turbo seems to offer and even larger 88mm compressor wheel with even MORE flow on the compressor side. Will that matter if the 96mm turbine wheel is already maxed out from the 80mm and 85mm offerings currently on the market?

More questions now. This site is showing that a 100mm turbine wheel now exists for the S400 chassis? Did some quick internet searching to see who is running them with results and found just a bunch of people talking about it "coming", but no actual release.

If this has actually been released is it on the market yet and anyone running one?

we ran one of the Billet 88's VSRacing turbo this weekend for some testing one of our 275 cars and with a 358" SBF/ 225afr methanol deal it went a 5.52 on the 9psi gate spring on the first pass at 3150lb's. and a 8.82@156 on the same boost but creeping to 10.8 psi at the big end due to the smaller gates and methanol. the turbo definitely works well and hasn't had an issue at all after 5 passes. We will try to throw more boost at it next week due to being cut short on the weather this weekend and not getting any more hits.

Guy with a white ex cab GMC Sierra had one on a forged 370 at ls fest.... he did the burn out competition and said it made 1100 hp when giving the specs of the set up.... but I’m with flexer why add another 8mm on compressor and nothing on turbine side when that is always the choking point?
