I see racers using C16 because they think it is best for high compression NA engine as it has a high octane rating. But they don't seem to see that the Reid Vapor Pressure is only 2.8 ish. C14 is nearly as high in octane and has a Reid Vapor pressure of about 5.8. This refers to how much light ends the fuel has. C14 has twice as much appprox. Normally aspirated fuels for racing need more light ends than what C16 provides. It is formulated for power adder applications that have very high heat compare to NA engines. This lower raid pressure makes it harder for the ignition to start lighhting off the burn. Not good for NA engines.

Anyone want to expand on this or correct anything i have suggested?
