Seems like most of the discussion at least in these circles (and domestic cars in general) are about turbo sizing for auto equipped cars. How does that change with a manual transmission?
My instinct is that for a streetable setup you'd want a slightly smaller turbine to help spool it since you don't always have a load against the engine, but I know that the 2.3 turbo fords got a larger turbine on the 5 speed equipped cars than they did on the auto cars.
Alternatively, is there a difference in engine tuning beyond what you would normally see going from an auto to manual without a turbo?
