So what accurate .5 pd guages are you all using?? I bought a digital .5 pd gauge from Jegs..there brand..and it isn't worth a Damn. I had to borrow the guys that were pitted next to me and theirs was excellent. Stupid me forgot to ask where they got it from. So which ones do you guys use??

The longacre one is the one they had!! That was the one I was hoping to find. I'm open to .2 increments as well just need something that is reliable and accurate.

Never bought into the accuracy deal.
As long as you use the same gauge, the same way, log your readings and how the car reacts you're good to go.

The one in my trailer has gotta be 30 years old. IIRC it has 1/4lb marks. Got it for a case of beer.:)

YMMV

I use the moroso 0-15 lb one, it actually has 2 decimal places. I had a jegs one at first, one battery change and it was done. Moroso one has lasted me a while and i check it against an analog one i have that is brand new from time to time to make sure.

Large glow face Intercomp 0 - 15 lb'er here. Phuck batteries, another thing to worry about.

Agree 100% on pressure accuracy and using the same gauge. I've tested four very good gauges back to back to back, two digital and two analog. None of them read the exact same. I forgot mine on the golf cart a couple years ago after running the Jr's and my brother asked me if I wanted to use his. Just left the tires alone. Would rather be off a 1/4 pound than who knows what they would have been had I used his.

When I worked at Moroso we had a gauge tester that we kept on the race support trailer.
It consisted of a air tank with a regulator and a master gauge. We would test your gauge against the master and tell you how much it was off.

I sent the Jegs digital one I bought back. That POS wouldn't register the pressure or anything. Put a new battery in it and still kept dying. Ended up buying the Moroso one so should be good to go!

To anyone who has a gauge with a hose and bleed that is not accurate, just buy a new gauge.

To those who say no two gauges read the same they are right.

A 20 dollar gauge will read 1/4 lb different than another at 7lbs

A 350 dollar gauge will read .01lb different than another at 0-15 lbs
