While my trans is out to fit my new converter i thought i had better fit an aftermarket forward hub. The one in the first link below says it is 4140 billet and comes with the torrington thrust bearings to replace washers and says requires no machining. Would this be a good choice for a street/strip car. I haven't heard of the brand. I'm not sure it is as strong as the TSI brand of hub which they say is rated at 2000hp and i think (but not sure) is 1045 forged. But i like the idea of the torrington bearings and no machining required. I'm having a difficult time deciding which one to buy (which has been the case for almost everything i buy since 2014, because parts cost double what you pay for us now to get here in Australia because of the exchange rate/shipping/taxes) so i try to do things once only.
What are the good transmission builders using. I guess either one will do. The first one isn't giving a HP rating.
