Might be buying one from them as an experiment/backup.
Anyone had or heard yay or nay on them?
Just wanting to pop one in on my 67 chevelle,468,500 hp street car.
My current TH400 is experiencing pressure problems,so I'll hand it off after I switch it out.
Was just curious on their builds.

can be hit or miss, just like anything else most get a good one but every once in a while a defective one slips thru. That said mostly good reviews from the guys I know that have one.

Not a "Streetfighter " trans but we did use a TCI Turbo400 trans in a 3900lb. BBC Caprice with "big" (14x32) tires. Trans lasted almost 3 seasons before we opted for a freshen-up. We considered it worthwhile

Jim Hostler in Wilmington builds a GREAT one and very reasonable. I have beat the hell out of it for 5 yrs, 550h/600t in my GTO. PM me if you want contact info.

I’ve had mine over 20 years, rebuilt twice I think? Just a street truck when it’s running.

There’s a good shop in Cheltenham Pa that’ll do a th400 if your interested.
