ive never had any problems doing it. I just glue them together with a little silicone.

 

I've seen this done before on my best friend's big block Ford,it had no problems with gaskets leaking or gaskets moving around.Worked just fine.

 

What is the point in it?

 

Reason I am doing it is because the thickest gaskets available are still too thin to take up the gap between intake to head

 

yep, same reason i did it. w2's with an indy intake...... i see a pattern here lol

 

cant remember, might of been of couple of .030's. Think i got some .060's from indy. Dont remember the exact combo, it was two motors ago......memory is getting sketchy

 

actually i think it might of been a .030 and a .015, .060's were too thick.

 

Call Steve at SCE, they will make any thickness gasket you want. I used to have them make my SB2 intake gaskets for me.

 

Once I find out the thickness that I need/works best I was thinking of getting some made or buying gasket material and cutting out the gaskets myself
