Follow along with me, as we go down the fiery rabbit hole that is the lithium battery world…

The Bobcat T7X is around $200k, and as we see here, even EXPENSIVE EVs are not immune to rapid battery deflagration.

The insurance lobby is going to shut this madness down. It will be the first time in my life that I’ll be thankful for the insurance industry shutting something down. But in this case, as obviously dangerous as these things are, it’s about time.

The whole concept of toll lanes in the first place is bullshit bad, but I still love this.. fuck EV drivers and their free perks and incentives to go along with their entitlement.

This video is from three years ago.. things have gotten MUCH worse since then, as lithium batteries are that much more prevalent now. All of these types of fires are becoming more and more common every day.

See Henry has an agenda. He’s an elitist snob. He wants everyone to use EV’s as daily drivers so he can cruise around in his ‘53 Merc low riders with ancient gas guzzling, oil burning, smoky flat heads and feel all warm and fuzzy inside thinking he’s getting the best of both worlds and saving the planet. Doesn’t matter how much coal has to be burned to charge those EV’s ya know. “Tail pipe emissions” are the only thing polluting the planet.

Same as his Hollywood lefty hero’s who fly around in private jets while preaching to the plebes to give up their gas guzzling Muscle cars and pickup trucks. You know… Low brow MAGA folk.

You’ve just got to read between the lines with ole Hank. He’s a sly devil.

A thought occurred to me regarding you dumb clucks. I think the reason you fellers don’t realize the utter volume of finite resources you’re pouring into your fuel tanks non stop.

It’s a similar phenomenon as me or any other hypocrite that goes to the butcher shop but is too much of a pussy kill and dress the animal out with their own hands.

You knuckleheads don’t really have any idea what goes into getting the fuel to the gas station. You don’t even see the fuel you just pour it into the abyss to be burnt by your heat making machines.

How about you guys start with that idea, especially you DBT because you’re the thickest of all. I think maybe most guys on here are reasonable and can maybe understand my viewpoint.

Not you DBT. You’re a special case and I will certainly bring you around to my way of thinking. It’s just a matter of time.

You are THE dumbest box of rocks on this forum. My argument, my position on this subject is based on facts, logic, experience, history, precedent, market forces, and every other aspect of reality that you are willfully choosing to ignore to suit your agenda. YOU have the unsustainable position, the indefensible viewpoint, the impossibly stupid thought process that leads you to believe that electric cars are the answer. Hint: they aren’t. Not now, not ever. Not in the real world that we all live in and share today.

You’re trying to make the argument that fossil fuels are a finite resource, thus electric is the only and obvious answer. This is dramatically stupid. Fossil fuels may very well be a finite resource, but all current evidence points to us not being anywhere close to running out yet, so this raging furor to find a premature replacement is simply self-destructive. The real world manufacture, recycling and most importantly operation of mass quantities of electric cars on the scale with which ICE cars exist today would also take an ENORMOUS TOLL on the environment, merely in different ways than the burning of fossil fuels. You are TOTALLY IGNORING the facts there.

Even if the availability of fossil fuels was an immediate, urgent concern that we need to address RIGHT NOW, electric cars still would NOT be the answer to replace them. But you just simply cannot and will not accept that because you have a BULLSHIT agenda to push and protect.

The fact that you are arrogant enough to think you will somehow change my position on this is truly astounding. Not to be overly modest, but I bet I have done more studying on this subject than anyone else on this forum, ESPECIALLY you, and the more studying I’ve done, the more deep dives and research I’ve done, the MORE confident I am that my assessment is 100% accurate. The bullshit little pieces of propaganda that ignore ALL the facts and realities that I have prevented only serve to make you look like more of a damn fool, they do absolutely NOTHING to question my knowledge of what is already happening and my assumptions about what will happen in the future.

Your problem is that you are not seeking the truth. You look for feel-good youtubers who are pushing the agenda with you, and you always cite them as your backup to your position. You are making zero effort to actually learn the physics behind these batteries and their different chemistries and properties, you are willfully ignoring all of the mountains of evidence that shows just how brutally toxic these batteries are when they burn, and when they’re recycled. You don’t care about ANY of that, you ONLY care about suppressing the fossil fuel agenda, at any cost. All while you work on and drive extremely inefficient old carbureted engines that belch the very pollutants you’re trying to eradicate from existence. EXACTLY like when shithead celebrities and politicians fly around in private jets while telling us all to stop eating meat because cows are farting too much.

Not only are you wrong about everything related to this subject, but you are reprehensible and detestable as the massive hypocrite that you are. And yet all you do is come back for more, because you simply CANNOT get a grip on reality no matter how many times someone tries to hand it to you.

I like how HairyFurd didn’t bother addressing any of the destructive points I made in my post just above.. oh well, I assume he can’t refute any of them whatsoever and isn’t going to bother wasting his time trying.

Meanwhile, things are going poorly in the world of electric motorcycles.. namely, nobody fucking wants them.

Although the upfront cost of LiveWire electric motorcycles is significantly lower than most new Harley-Davidson gasoline models, LiveWire's financialssuggest that the market has clearly expressed its preference. The $89 million grant to Harley-Davidson is only one in a long list of failed, costly green energy projects funded by the Biden administration, which also includes a $9.63 billion loan to Ford to build three manufacturing plants for the company's E.V. batteries in Tennessee and Kentucky. Only one of these factories has been built—and has yet to roll out batteries—while the other two have no set opening date.”

DBT, who are you even talking to? The EV marketplace is already in place and thriving.

Every manufacturer has EV offerings and every wall outlet is part of the electric grid whether you like it or not.

I was in Tampa today DBT and I couldn’t help but think of you as I traveled around the downtown streets.

Car exhaust thick in the air, one doosh was rolling coal in a Dodge dually on the way out of town. Noise, grit, dirty gas stations a real treat.

See I’m a country boy Deep, I’m not used to filth at those levels. Oh don’t get me wrong I get my hands dirty every day, I’ve inhaled plenty of poisonous fumes because I’ve been in auto shops my entire adult life. I’m old enough to have suffered the second hand smoke of everyone’s cigarettes. My lungs suck now.

Yes I’m a “petrol head”, my hometown had city buses powered by 6/71 Detroits that never shut down all day and most of the night. Matter of fact when I catch a whiff of those smells it instantly takes me back to specific memories of my boyhood.

I love the smell of diesel and race gas and nitro and methanol.

Buuuutttt like potato chips and Moon Pies not everything you ingest is good for you and you’re just too damn slow go acknowledge that fact.

Motorcycles are not now nor have they ever been a good use case for an EV purpose. Straddling a big assed motor sickle is recreation not usually a necessity.

There are lots of towns though that allow golf carts on city streets and E-bikes in ride share programs.

I don’t even know where I’m going with this anymore just that I’m starting to think you’re in my top three dummy’s I ever met.

If you can’t wrap your head around the fact that electromotive power is a fantastic option for SOME use cases. Some very significant and impactful use cases.

You refused to watch the video featuring the business owners and contractors who have found to the F150 Lightning to be perfect for their applications. That’s not some AI fake shit , that was real people doing real work leveraging low maintenance costs, low fuel cost, high comfort and capability and super high in jobsite use ability.

It’s not my fault you’ve never visited a construction site but I have. I’m not talking out my ass I’ve lived that life for years.

Im not saying the concrete pump should be electric but I sure as hell think the owner and his foremen could really find some real benefit driving a Ford or Chevy EV work truck.

Don’t be a chooch and pull you head outta that dark place you like to store it in.

#318 ·
Your own cranium is a construction site, and methheads keep stealing all the copper wire out of it.. that’s why there isn’t even a light on, and there’s DEFINITELY nobody home except for a group of hard-drug-using squatters who take shits into their hands and then smear them on the wall. That’s what is going on inside your head.

Thye EV marketplace is just another scam created by business to get laws passed forcing people imto spending more money on another politician backed money maker and yet, at the same time these lying cheating leftists do this in the name of clean air while they allow multiple more millions of illegals into the country which cause more dirty air than ever prior to the gates being wide open to illegal invaders who steal from American taxpayers non stop minute by minute. Did you vote for electric vehicle to be in your way on the highways? I didn't think so.In the not to distant future they'll come up with some new money making scam for politricksters.

Ruh roh.. HairyFurd is still dreaming about prototypes that will never become production vehicles, while continuing to ignore realities like this: More shipping companies and ferries banning electric vehicles…

#327 ·
Double rut roh! These damn LFP batteries that HairyFurd loves and thinks are immune from fire/explosion risk, blowing up that boat I linked here last week.. good old Hairy, completely ignoring the REALITIES of these dangerous batteries..

#328 ·
Hey what do you think the odds are for improvements being made so trapped gasses don’t accumulate like they did in this case? Also my house has a smoke detector. What if devices were required to alert people that a fire or explosion was imminent?

If you watched the video the firefighter said there is a 1% chance of this happening.

I would venture to guess that this situation is exceedingly rare while explosions in gasoline powered boats happen all to frequently.

C’mon man do better.

#330 ·
Speaking of people getting duped… you got duped by a professional youtube who makes clickbait bullshit videos and will make more money on that video than that whole damn car cost. Do you not understand how the world works? These fuckers buy up shit just so they can make videos to get easy clicks from idiots like you. Then once they’ve had their fun they either keep the car that paid for itself via advertising, or they sell it for a little less than they paid but still add handsomely to their profit.

Not fucking ONE of these idiots like this is to be trusted.

#332 ·
For every bullshit puff piece from a youtube “content creator” that you post that supports your agenda, I can post one that kills your agenda just the same. You should learn to stick to real facts and reality instead of the minority opinions of idiots with agendas that cannot be reformed.

#339 ·
Oh look, other countries and EV companies are pulling bullshit scams to artificially inflate EV sales numbers to make it look like they’re successes even when they aren’t. Imagine that!

I thought I told you fellas the story about the conversation at my wife’s beauty salon regarding EV’s.

One of her clients had a new Tesla and my wife was talking about it with her and the client went on to tell her how much she loved it.

Afterwords all the other ladies went on and on about how they would never own an EV and blah blah blah, the same bullshit everyone peddles on this forum.

Almost like it’s a brainwashed situation with a huge pushback on EV’s for reasons one only can imagine not least of which is the Elon Musk derangement syndrome.

Well I’m gonna stick with what in my mind makes sense. ICE sales are down in many segments and in many markets as well.

All this negative horseshit is anti EV cultists scratching around to find anything they can write about that casts EV’s in a bad light.

I’ve never said EV’s were the answer to every use case. I routinely say that EV’s are a great way to clean the air and reduce our dependence on oil and for me personally to drastically reduce the maintenance in my fleet.
