So far we are very impressed. I ordered 1 of Summit's new SBC blocks in 2pc rear seal. We ordered a 4" bore block so that we would be able to insure the cylinders were straight and to GM spec. The guys put the block in the Rottler F69A yesterday and started to probe. Must say out of all the aftermarkett blocks we have had on the machine, the Summit block was the closest to GM print. Cylinder were only shifted .0015". To square deck the banks to spec it too .002" on one side and .003" on the other. Checking lifter bore location and cylinder wall thickness after boring and honing to 4.125". Main bore in the middle of factory spec.

Interesting!

Is it affordable? or another block that is priced so close to a Dart that No one buys one unless that's all that's in stocK?

Needs to be priced like those speedmaster blocks but not cheap junk! is there a Billet Cap option? lifter size? and i'm assuming bores to 4.155

Tall deck would be sweet!

Seems I heard they were the same blocks Blueprint has made. Blueprint has very high standards, so these should be no exception.

Do you know which foundry?

HP is a calculation, it has never broke anything. Piston speed, detonation, and the by-products of those 2 are what hurts parts. It will hold a bit of power. We are doing a 372CID NOS build with our 18 degree heads. It's going in one of my employees drag cars as a "track mule".
