Not familiar with Shipleys but they would have to be real good to beat Krispy Kreme!

 

Krispy Kreme used to be good until they went public years ago and you started seeing them at every 7-11 and Quick Check, all stale as hell. If you don't get them hot off the production line at an actual KK store, they suck.

 

No bad word's can be said about ANY donut ! .......... FACT !

Krispy Kreme is the bomb. Glazed raspberry filled, with a hot off the machine original doughnut!!! BOMB. Oh and a strawberry milk..

 

Shipleys is a lot better than Krispy Kream, but in my neck of the woods, once you eat Daylight Doughnuts, you will throw rocks at Shipleys.

Krispy creme is highly overated, they closed them all here, We have a supermarket chain here called cub, theirs are to die for.

Spud Nuts are by far the best. Ate a couple of them every day while peddling 'The Wenachee Daily World' on the street after school back in 1950-1951.

Never heard of Shipley's. I like Krispy Kreme, though. Dunkin' Donuts just taste weird.

KK are simply too sweet for my taste... I grew up eating them periodically when we lived in the U.S. When I returned here... I found I didn't like em any more... weird!

KK SUCK. I had them once and never went back. WAYYYY too much sugar on them to where you can't even tell what the hell your eating. Ruins the donut. Shipley's makes them just right!

 

Once you've had a Krispy Kreme straight off the line, there's no going to anything else.

 

I voted for KKD, but neither one of them can make a proper apple fritter. The better ones generally come from the little mom and pop shops and the best ones come from the Donut Stop in Amarillo, TX.
