I have an NOS Launcher mini progressive controller (part number: 15974) Its the one with the little keyfob looking thing used to program adjust ramping, timing, progression, etc. and I had it installed by a friend of mine who has a shop out here in California and happens to be an experienced nitrous guy himself and he could not figure it out for the life of him. He went on to say that nobody is using these things anymore and that it is almost impossible to get directions to set it up.

Can anyone help me out with this?
maybe a proven schematic or instructions on what I should be doing?

thank you.

So, it seems that plenty of people are using them which is the opposite of what my friend was telling me. He made it seem like this was super old technology and impossible to set up with the schematic offered with the controller. Along with a halfway installed item, he gave me a couple phone numbers of people who had different ideas of how to install it. some say connect the yellow wire. some say don't, and a guy named Shane from NOS knows how to do it. I will go back and try do things according to the included instructions and see if something is missing. In any case, I have a little peace of mind knowing that there is hope.

The only ways to install it are the RIGHT way. The yellow and orange wires are stage 1 and 2 outputs, that can operate a timing retard. HOWEVER, they are GROUND outputs, so if using them for a timing retard that requires 12volts, they must trigger the ground terminal of a relay, that triggers the retard. White is the arm wire, red and blue small wires are the triggers from WOT or TPS. They can be ground OR hot, just have to wire and program it right. Green is the tach input and the heavy Red and Blue is stage 1 and 2 to solenoids. Blacks are grounds.........and that is IT. If you can't wire one of these by reading the instructions........well, maybe you shouldn't be installing electrical components of any kind.........LOL!!!

Now admittedly some REALLY struggle with electrical stuff, even with good instructions. But if you half way understand wiring, these things are cake to install. I have put them in at the track between rounds
