Howdy folks, first post here but long time reader. I ran a search on the turbo section of the tech forum to no avail. I had stumbled across these turbos on eBay by rev9. They are 72-68. Comp: 72/102 (inducer/Exducer) respectively. Turbine: (68/79). They are some what similar to the SXE borgs we all know and love. Currently have a cast 475 for a 4.8 LS. I would like to in the future move to a 5.3 based engine. I am remote mounting the turbos in the bed of an s10. I know the twins I cited will be massive on a 4.8 regardless of fuel choice. Rev9 does sell smaller offerings, and these would work well on a 5.3 on ethanol or methanol I think. Every dollar counts in my build at the moment as I am in university. Any advice is welcome, thank you.

I ran those exact units from Rev9. They made horrible power per pound. A set of gt3582's blew them away. It was almost like the housings didn't fit the wheels. Large gaps around compressor and exh wheels. I ran the T3 flange units and the housings were HUGE. Dario with the twin turbo pinto ran them as well and had the same issue.
