By their nature, prison movies are dark and uncomfortable but this one was not enjoyable.
There was a decent guy that made a mistake and as a result, his productive life was ruined and he descended into a dirty and depressing way of life.
The way that these movies elevate criminals and especially convicts is pathetic. May it is true that these jail rats are treated like royalty in their "community". The caged guy in the end that had the false sense of importance and ego ..... the warped sense of importance that this scum may actually have for themselves.

 

Lock Up with Sylvester Stallone. That was pretty cool. Another one was "An Innocent Man" With Tom Sellock. That was cool too. They fucked him over pretty hard.

Good choice. I believe that was a made for TV movie, I remember seeing it for the first time…..fucking great movie.
