Hello all brand new here. I just ordered a brand new s60 from strange. I’m using the Hotchkis rear multi leaf springs. My question is about the leaf spring mounts they welded on. The driver side looks straight but the passenger is pretty crooked / welded at and angle. I emailed them and they called and said it was normal? I’ll attach pictures and please let me know what you guys think. Thank you all.

Only way to correct that is cut it with a plasma cutter and reweld the perch in the right way. Good luck.

Ok well that’s pretty much what I was thinking. But since they told me it was normal I just needed a few second opinions before I called them back to make a fuss of it. It took almost 6 weeks to get it and almost $3,400 you’d expect better.

Sorry but Ray Charles could get a perch on straighter than that. There is no fucking way I would accept that from them. I would demand a new one shipped to you the same spec as you ordered and delivered to you in a 14-day timeline free of charge with a $250 credit to strange engineering also. My strange S60 is for a 4th gen camaro and the bracketry on it is much more complex than just 2 spring pads, and mine was 100% dead on straight in every way.

I'm dead nuts serious! I don't fuck around with companies that try to pass off subpar service or products anymore. If they do not want to do that just tell them you'll do a chargeback on your credit card and they will be fucked out-of-the-money completely.

I assume the reared that came out of the car has spring perches? and the have zero toe in? That settles that question! That’s so much toe that the leaf spring will not bolt up to the front or rear hangers in the car. There’s no possible way this can work. Next time; buy from Mark Williams.
