Many years ago i was with friends at an NMCA race in Memphis TN. Don Fielded cars in 2 classes with him and his son driving. My Buddy won Pro stock and Don wanted to buy the motor. So after the race we followed him to his shop late that night and were going to pull the engine the next morning. He says "Hell why go through all that trouble when i can just buy the whole car" . There were muscle cars ALL OVER the place and my bud made a deal for the race car, for a beautiful 67 chevelle ss396 and a very generous cash amount. I asked him if he had any first gen camaros around and he says " I got about fity of those" ! Said he had a building out back with over 500 cars in it but it was 1AM on a Sunday night so he didnt want to bother showing it. Dude wasn't lying for sure.

Maybe it's just me but I don't get it. Buying and owning so many cars that they're just "there". I enjoy driving and working on my hobby car(s). At one time I had 3, 70 Cougar Eliminator, 70 Cougar Convertible and an 85 Fox Mustang that I ran at the track. Eventually I got tired of trying to enjoy 3 cars at once and after a few years got it back down to 1.

that was weird. I suppose I could see a Chevy guy mistaking the silhouette and considering all Mopars to be either a road runner or a general lee.

btw, that car in your avatar sold a couple months ago. Which I had been better positioned to buy it. That is a bad little hemi motherfucker!
