Is powder coating resistant to gasoline?

I've pulled my aluminum fuel cell and would like to powder coat it. I'm using a 4" high dragster filler next which requires a rubber or cork gasket. The filler neck mounts on the top of the tank.

I'm inquiring if power coating is resistant to gas so I can have the entire top of the tank powder coated, then place the gasket and filler neck on top of the powder coating.

...........or, should I have the area where the gasket and filler neck mount taped off before powder coating?

Thank you,

Worked for a Powder Coating Mfg. about 18years ago, so I'm sure "some things" have changed.
BUT, we use to make PC for GM and Ford, one was intake manifold silver. I would think it was fuel resistant, as it was fine on my Vic Jr ;)

Not all PC is fuel/chemical resistant, so I would talk it over with who you plan to use to have it done for what options.

I will say, it is some really impressive stuff.
